The story behind the Kayali brand

Kayali was founded in 2018 by Mona Kattan, a Dubai-based beauty entrepreneur and the sister of Huda Kattan of Huda Beauty fame. Growing up surrounded by the rich perfume traditions of the Middle East, Mona turned a lifelong love of fragrance into a house built on one idea: scent should be personal.

The name Kayali means “my imagination” in Arabic — a nod to the belief that fragrance should be layered, mixed and made your own, rather than worn exactly as it comes from the bottle. From that idea grew a global brand celebrated for its quality, its distinctive bottles, and above all its philosophy of layering.
